The Beka Sensa Saucepan Ø 16 cm is not just any saucepan. Thanks to the innovative, Belgian-patented SoftBase® base, you can cook more comfortably and quietly on an induction hob, whilst reducing the risk of scratches on your hob.

The special silicone non-slip coating on the base of the saucepan provides extra grip on the smooth hob surface. This means the pan is less likely to slide or vibrate whilst cooking, and any contact noise is dampened. A separate induction mat is therefore not required. With a capacity of 1.6 litres, this saucepan is ideal for making sauces, heating milk, melting butter or cooking smaller portions.

Smart Glass Lid with Downdraft Function and Pouring System

• The Beka Sensa saucepan comes with an innovative glass lid that combines two handy functions.
• Targeted steam extraction: does your induction hob have an integrated extractor hood or downdraft system? If so, turn the side opening of the lid towards the extractor. This ensures that cooking vapours are extracted in a targeted manner.
• Even without a downdraft system, you can use the saucepan perfectly with a traditional extractor hood.
• Integrated pouring system: through the special opening, you can carefully pour off cooking liquid without removing the lid completely. Hold the lid firmly in place whilst doing so.

Dimensions and Specifications

Caring for the Beka Sensa saucepan

• The saucepan and the glass lid are dishwasher-safe. You can also easily clean the SoftBase® base by hand using a soft sponge or cloth.
• Avoid using scouring pads to prevent damage to the silicone coating. Allow the base to dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• It is best to move the saucepan by lifting it rather than sliding it across the hob.
