The Beka Sensa Saucepan (Ø 20 cm ) brings innovation and ease of use together in your kitchen. Thanks to the revolutionary, Belgian-patented SoftBase® technology, you can cook more quietly and steadily on an induction hob, whilst reducing the risk of scratches on your hob.

The special silicone non-slip coating on the base of the saucepan provides extra grip on the smooth hob surface. This means the saucepan is less likely to slide or vibrate whilst cooking, and any annoying contact noises are muffled. With a capacity of 3.1 litres, this saucepan is ideal for preparing potatoes, vegetables, pasta, rice and other everyday dishes.

SoftBase®: Protection and Stability on Induction

• What makes the Beka Sensa collection unique is its innovative SoftBase® base.
• This soft silicone anti-slip layer is located beneath the stainless steel base and ensures the saucepan has a firmer grip on the induction hob. This keeps the saucepan more stable, even when you’re stirring your dishes.
• Furthermore, vibrations and contact noises are reduced, and there is less risk of scratching your hob. A separate induction protector is therefore not required.
• Important: the Beka Sensa saucepan is suitable for use on induction hobs only. Do not use the saucepan on gas, electric or vitreous ceramic hobs, as direct heat may damage the SoftBase®.

Smart Glass Lid with Downdraft Function and Pouring System

The Beka Sensa saucepan comes with an innovative glass lid that combines two practical functions.Targeted steam extraction: does your induction hob have an integrated extractor hood or downdraft system? If so, turn the side opening of the lid towards the extractor. This ensures that cooking vapours are extracted in a targeted manner.

Do you have a traditional cooker hood above your hob? You can still use the Beka Sensa saucepan perfectly well.Integrated draining system: thanks to the opening in the lid, you can carefully drain cooking liquid from pasta, potatoes or vegetables without using a separate colander. Make sure to hold the lid firmly in place whilst doing so.

Dimensions and Specifications

Caring for the Beka Sensa Saucepan

• The saucepan and the glass lid are dishwasher-safe. You can also easily clean the SoftBase® base by hand using a soft cloth or sponge.
• Avoid scouring pads and harsh abrasive cleaners to prevent damage to the silicone coating. Allow the base to dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• If a light white limescale deposit appears on the SoftBase® over time, you can carefully remove it with a little diluted lemon juice or natural vinegar.
• Although the SoftBase® offers extra protection, it is still recommended that you lift the saucepan when moving it.
